What is a Student Grievance?

A grievance is any genuine concern, complaint, or dissatisfaction that a student faces during their academic journey. At AIMS IBS, we believe that a transparent and supportive grievance redressal system helps ensure student well-being, fairness, and continuous improvement.

Purpose of the Grievance Cell:
  • To provide a platform for students to raise concerns.
  • To ensure quick and fair resolution of issues.
  • To maintain trust and a positive academic environment.
Types of Student Grievances

Academic Grievances
Issues related to teaching methods, curriculum delivery, evaluation, or class scheduling.

Administrative Grievances
Complaints related to facilities, hostel, transport, scholarships, or other support services.
3.
Examination & Assessment Grievances
Issues with marks, revaluation, delays in results, or unfair assessment practices.
4.
Behavioral & Harassment Grievances
Concerns about faculty/staff/student behavior, bullying, discrimination, or harassment.
5.
Other Grievances
Any issue not covered above that affects student life and well-being.
